About us
Taegeuk World Sports promotes the two-handed racket sport Taegeuk-Minton and its equipment. By spreading new sports and supporting people who have been left out of sport, we are building a sport anyone can enjoy.

“Leading the future of new sports”
Taegeuk World Sports develops and promotes new sports that people of every age can enjoy.
Taegeuk-Minton brings together the principles of Taegeuk movement, a racket shaped like the traditional Korean sogo drum, and badminton to create an everyday sport for public health. It reduces the injuries that one-handed sports can cause, develops the body evenly and stimulates the brain.
We will keep working so that Taegeuk-Minton becomes Korea's signature two-handed badminton.

Our history
2018
- Racket design application filed
- Coach & referee certification registered with KRIVET; selected for Daejeon Sports Council community program
- Taegeuk World Sports founded
- MOU with Bhayangkara University, Indonesia; racket design registration granted
- Taegeuk-Minton trademark filed; hands-on training for 120 Daejeon community sports instructors
2019
- Agreements with an NPO in Toshima, Japan, and a senior "second-challenge" group
- Grand Prize, Sports Industry Competition
- Agreements with the Korean Sports Council in Vietnam and the Korean Taekwondo Council of Hanoi
- Outstanding Company, Sports Industry Startup Demo Day; Grand Prize, Hannam University Sports Industry Pitching Contest
2020–21
- Taegeuk-Minton textbook copyright registered
- Agreement with the Mongolian Institute of Culture and Economy
- Agreements with Daejeon University's Dept. of Community Sports, the Korea Disabled Mentoring Association, Daejeon Dong-gu Sports Council and others
